ASF Bespoke Stainless Steel Bollards were primarily required for pedestrian protection and architectural impact. There was also the need for a multi lingual sign to be incorporated into these.

ASF Bespoke Stainless Steel Bollards installed to site with the inclusion of a strap and channel fit multi lingual sign displaying parking restrictions.

Brief

As part of the acclaimed 'Tern Project', cast birdlife sculptures were required to decorate a seafront post and rail system.

Working alongside sculptor, David Kemp, ASF cast sculptures of Cormorants, Mallards, Puffins and Magpies as stylish and highly decorative finials.

To replace large cast iron pillars in Brighton, that were removed during World War II.

Solution

Using old postcards and original sketches, ASF made new patterns and manufactured these impressive new pillars, returning this area to its former glory.

Brief

ASF 5009 stainless steel bollards had been chosen for this urban site. The bollards were required to have visibility swirls for all areas and at the railway station incorporate signage.

Solution

Taking the standard visibility swirls from the ASF 5009, ASF used these safety features and laser cut the wording into them, giving the bollard a triple use- pedestrian protection, high visibility barrier and signage.

Brief

After using the ASF 5006 Stainless Steel Bollards throughout the whole project, we were asked to design a handrail system to match.

Solution

Utilizing the 101mm diameter bollard and 50mm diameter stainless steel tubing, a handrail system was developed to install into a curved granite plinth down a gradient. The site also required stand alone step units, these were manufactured to coordinate.

Brief

The ASF 102 Cast Iron Bollard was specified for use in Liverpool City Centre. The local authority stipulated that they required the bollard to be personalised and promote civic identity.

Solution

A hand carved pattern of the Liver Bird was made and cast directly onto the ASF 102 Bollards. Painted in black gloss with details embellished in gold the finished result was a striking, multi purpose product.

Brief

To introduce an architectural, modern element into a traditional castellated brick wall.

Solution

Using Stainless Steel Tubing that was polish finished and curved over all three planes, an eccentric rail was manufactured and tailor made for each wall section.
